What do you hope to learn from your Richter experience this summer?
I hope to gain insight into the role of language in education, particularly how the language of instruction affects both students' academic performance and their ability to participate fully in cultural, economic, political, intellectual, and social life. I expect to be challenged intellectually and develop a better understanding of the research process.
