Loop Internship Grant
In The Loop participants are eligible to receive a Lake Forest College provided internship grant of up to $4,500 beginning in Fall 2025.
The College recognizes the financial difficulties faced by many students and the increased demand for paid internship opportunities. The Loop Internship Grant aims to support students in unpaid or low-paid internships as part of the program. Applications will be evaluated on factors such as:
- demonstrated financial need (assessed by the Office of Financial Aid),
- the number of internship credit hours (up to $2,250 per credit, maximum of two credits per semester), and
- the level of funding offered by the internship site.
How to Apply for the Loop Internship Grant
Students must submit their application for the 2025-26 In The Loop program on our before the March 3rd deadline. Upon acceptance into the program, students will be notified of their provided grant in their acceptance email. Please note that students outside of the In The Loop program are not eligible for this grant.
