Leave the Light On: An Anthology of Care
7:30 pm - 10:00 pm
A new theatrical work written & performed by Lake Forest College students
Leave the Light On: An Anthology of Care
What is care? Who takes care of us?
Leave the Light On is a student-created show inspired by the caretakers in our lives. Based on interviews conducted by the cast, we celebrate the stories of parents, grandparents, siblings, veterinarians, therapists, ecologists, pastors, librarians, pharmacy technicians, funeral celebrants and teachers. Leave the Light On explores the way we value, understand, and celebrate the very concept of care, and explores how care is the work that makes everything possible.
