Campus offices are closed Wednesday, December 24, 2025 - Sunday, January 4th, 2026. Offices open on Monday, January 5th, 2026

Health and Wellness

There will be no drop-in hours for the Health and Wellness Center during the Winter Break.

Gingerbread Challenge Build-Off

Location: Blackstone 3rd Floor Lounge   

Show off your holiday spirit in our Gingerbread House Challenge! Create and decorate your own gingerbread masterpiece for a chance to earn the title of the most festive and creative builder on campus. Bring your best ideas and your sweet tooth!   

    

Stay Snug: DIY Winter Cozy Kits 

Date/Time: Thursday, December 18th / 7:00pm  

Location: Nollen Ballroom 

Join us for a hands-on workshop to create your own Winter Cozy Kit! Residents will assemble a kit of cozy essentials like scarves, socks, hand warmers, tea, and more; perfect for staying warm and comfortable during the winter break.

 

Sushi & Sips: A Winter Social

Date/Time: Saturday, December 20th / 1:00pm

Location: Deerpath Lobby

A cozy winter social featuring a DIY mocktail bar, sushi platters, and board games like Clue and other classics. Light music will warm up the event and encourage residents to relax, socialize, and build community. 

Shake Up the Season: Snow Globe Night   

Date/Time: Monday, December 22nd / 6:30pm  

Location: Blackstone – 3rd Floor Lounge  

Celebrate the season by crafting your own snowy scene! We’ll provide all the materials for you to create a unique snow globe masterpiece.   

 
Holiday Movie Night

Location: Cleveland-Young Lounge

Cozy up for a holiday movie screening! Movie goers will receive blankets and enjoy comfort foods in a warm, homey lounge.  Sweets are also provided.   

 

Ho-Ho-Holiday Party

All Winter residents are invited to celebrate the holidays with an array of festive foods, drinks, and activities that incorporate many of the cultural holidays (i.e. Christmas, Boxing Day, Hannukah, Kwanza, etc.)   

 

Winter Vibes: Music, Food, and Fun with Dave Jordan 

Date/Time: Sunday, December 28th / 2:00 – 5:00pm  

Location: Calvin Durand  

Winter residents are invited to enjoy an afternoon of live music, food, and drinks with faculty member Dave Jordan and his band. 

 

New Year’s Pre-Party  

Date/Time: Wednesday, December 31st / 6:30 – 9:00pm  

Location: Mohr Student Center Skybox  

All of campus is invited to ring in the New Year with early evening fun! Residents can create their own New Year’s resolutions while enjoying snacks and drinks. The event will wrap up early, leaving plenty of time for those with later plans to watch the ball drop or head to Chicago/Navy Pier. 

 

New Year New You: Rejuvenate for the New Year

Jumpstart the New Year: Self-Care Packages & Vision Boards

Location: Deerpath Lobby

Join in a relaxing and uplifting start-of-term event where residents create personalized vision boards, enjoy a hot cocoa bar, and receive build self-care kits. Support mental wellness, creativity, and intentional goal setting as students transition back into the academic semester!
