The Loyola Project Screening

Forester Athletics in collaboration with OIR and UBA is screening the documentary "The Loyola Project" to commemorate Black History Month.
This documentary details how the Loyola Ramblers, led by coach George Ireland, broke down racial barriers in college basketball on their path to becoming NCAA champions in 1963. Immediately following the screening, there will be a discussion with Fred Mitchell, a long-time Chicago Tribune sports columnist, and author of “The History of Loyola Basketball: More Than a Shot and a Prayer .
