Academic Interests

Psychology and a possible minor in Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies. I love learning about LGBTQ+ topics, feminism, and diversity. I also really enjoy English classes.  Writing is definitely my strong suit.

Co-curricular

I love listening to music, especially creating Spotify playlists so everyone around me has something interesting to listen to. I also enjoy photography and am considering minoring in art. If anyone ever needs anything photographed during Richter, they can always let me know! Because I pay  my college tuition, I also work a lot.

My Dream Job

My dream job is either a mental health counselor, or recreational therapist, or social worker. I know for a fact that I want to work with kids, so if I end up doing social work I would love to work in an elementary school. I also would love to be some sort of advocate for LGBTQ+ and possibly write some books.  I also am a huge mental health advocate, so I want to work with helping people who struggle with mental health illnesses.

What do you hope to learn from your Richter experience this summer?

The Richter Scholar Program is a great opportunity to learn more about research techniques, meet more people who have similar interests as me, and enjoy the summertime weather on campus. I am excited to learn more about myself, too. I can't wait to push myself and find new ways to think and engage in the research process.
