¡Orgullosamente Latinos/as/x! A Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Celebration

Oct 2024
09

12:00 pm - 2:00 pm
Simpson Balcony, Mohr Student Center

Profesora Loyola and her SPAN 260: Heritage Spanish students invite you all to stop by the Simpson Balcony (the balcony nearest the Library entrance of the Student Center, along the main hallway) for a celebration of students' Hispanic/Latinx cultural identities.

Students will be showcasing flyers highlighting some their cultural heritage research. We will be celebrating with music and will also have a variety of snacks, pastries, and empanadas typical of Latinx communities for all to enjoy. We will also have a crafts table where guests can paint calaveras (ceramic skulls) and other items in anticipation of the Day of the Dead.
