Author Adam Welz discusses his new book, The End of Eden: Wild Nature in the Age of Climate Breakdown. The End of Eden invites readers to meet wild species on their own terms in a range of ecosystems that span the globe, now pushed to the brink of extinction by climate change. Pulitzer Prize-winning environmental author calls The End of Eden "at once an elegy and an exhortation-a plea to save what's left of the Earth's magnificent diversity." Environmental activist and author Bill McKibben says that Welz's book "goes deeper than any before into the meaning of the climate breakdown for all the rest of creation that shares this planet uneasily with us."
