What do you hope to learn from your Richter experience this summer?

I hope to improve my laboratory hard skills but also my soft skills, including communication, critical thinking, and insightfulness. Above all, I hope to learn more about working in a lab and designing and conducting research projects. I chose to participate in the Richter Scholar Program to explore my academic and career interests in the natural sciences. I am also looking forward to connecting with and being mentored by faculty for the purpose of improving my research-related skills.
