I am majoring in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and minoring in Spanish. I intend to pursue a PhD or MD and work as a medical researcher or a specialist in a medical field (such as Radiology or Neurology).

What do you hope to learn from your Richter experience this summer?

I hope to learn what it is like to do professional research in a real laboratory, create my own experiments, and collaborate with others by sharing our findings and making connections with other student researchers. I chose to participate in the Richter Scholars Program because I want to broaden my understanding of the pros and cons of working in the medical field.
