Join us as Lake Forest College hosts one of the most renowned brass bands in Chicago.
The Chicago Brass Band is both a concert and contest brass and percussion ensemble featuring thirty of the best musicians in the Chicago area. Under the
direction of award-winning conductor Mark A. Taylor , the band performs music in the British brass band tradition but with a Chicago flair.
Composed of cornets, flugel and tenor horns, baritones, euphoniums, trombones, tubas, and percussion, they are one of the finest ensembles of its type in North America.
