Pregnant and Parenting
Lake Forest College is committed to maintaining an equitable learning environment and supporting the academic success of pregnant and parenting students. The College prohibits discrimination based on parental status, pregnancy, childbirth, false pregnancy, termination of pregnancy, or recovery from related conditions in all of its educational programs and activities pursuant to Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972.
Students may request an accommodation for pregnancy-related conditions or parenting responsibilities by contacting the College Title IX Coordinator. Employees may reach out to the Title IX Coordinator or Director of Human Resources for reasonable accommodations or access.
The college has reserved a lactation space on campus for students nursing or breastfeeding, for questions please contact titleix@lakeforest.edu. For employees, please contact stepek@lakeforest.edu for reserving the space. The space includes seating, frige, and sink.
