2024 Spring Programming

April is National Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM)

Join the Office of Title IX on Wednesday, April 10th, 3:00pm-4:15pm, Student Center, Pierson Rooms A & B for a session to learn more about how Title IX and Clery intersect and the history of how they came to be on college campuses. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to learn how sexual assault, dating, domestic and other violence prevention are addressed on campus, how we ensure your rights, and the current measures in place to assist with safety. Teal ribbons will also be available for pick up.

  • April 16- 11:00am-1:00pm Title IX Office outreach and resources
  • April 23- When Sexual Assault and Related Acts Turn Legal (Session will be offered twice 12pm and 4pm)
  • April 24- 11:00am-2:00pm-National Denim Day… also meet our spotlight guests this year??

The Office of Title IX and the Health and Wellness Center Wellness Peer Educators kicked-off A-SAAM on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Mohr Student Center. Our offices collaborated on this “Teal Day” to raise awareness and shared giveaway items, resource materials, and the teal ribbon recognized for sexual assault awareness, survivors, and allies. Foresters picked up their ribbon to wear during the month of April!
