Lecturer in Chemistry

The Department of Chemistry at Lake Forest College has a need for an adjunct instructor to teach sections of Organic Chemistry I laboratory in the Fall or Organic Chemistry II laboratory in the Spring for the 2026-2027 academic year. Responsibilities include instructing one 4-hour afternoon lab section on Tuesdays, writing and grading assessments, and attending weekly staff meetings.  A Ph.D. in chemistry or related field is required. Demonstrated excellence in teaching is strongly preferred. A familiarity with gas chromatography and NMR spectroscopy is necessary.
