DebBurman named ‘Researcher To Know’

Shubhik DebBurman was named a 2019 Researcher To Know by the Illinois Science & Technology Coalition. The list includes 21 researchers from Illinois colleges and universities who have made a significant impact in their field.
The ISTC grouped its top researcher designees into four categories: Advancing Technology, Fighting Diseases, Increasing Sustainability, and On The Cutting Edge.
DebBurman, the Disque D. and Carol Gram Deane Professor of Biological Sciences and Chair of Biology, was honored in the Fighting Diseases category for his work with Parkinson’s disease.
