Students celebrate Lunar New Year with campus-wide festivities
The United Asia, Chinese Club, and the Japanese Club recently hosted a series of vibrant events to celebrate the Lunar New Year on campus.
The festivities included a Lunar New Year Kickoff and Red Packet Hunt, a traditional Chinese New Year dinner, a lion dance performance, and calligraphy activities.
Around 80 students gathered to enjoy cultural performances, festive food, and interactive experiences that highlighted the rich traditions of the holiday. The lion dance drew enthusiastic crowds, while the calligraphy session offered participants a chance to learn and practice traditional Chinese writing.
This annual Lunar New Year celebration has become one of the most well-attended student events on campus, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to welcome the new year and experience Asian cultural traditions.
