The $2,500 Star Scholarship recognizes transfer students who are a member of a Star Scholars Program at one of the City Colleges of Chicago and is stackable on top of either the $37,000 Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship or a Presidential Scholarship of up to $37,000, furthering our commitment to support high achieving transfer students.
Scholarship eligibility
- Complete a Lake Forest Transfer Application
- Provide proof of membership in a Star Scholars Program at one of the City Colleges of Chicago (usually on your college transcript).
- Must be eligible for an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree or have at least 60 semester hours of transferrable credits.
- Students should have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale.
Renewal requirements
- Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 for scholarship renewal.
