John Russick

John Russick is leading the development of a multi-million dollar, start-up arts center in Milwaukee. He is also Visiting Director of International Projects for the Future Museum Studio at the Institute for Cultural and Creative Industry at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, President of the Board of Directors of the Chicago Cultural Alliance, and a Leadership Greater Chicago Daniel Burnham Fellow. Previously, he was the Interim President and CEO of the Levine Museum of the New South in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of the Chicago History Museum, where he served as chair of the Digital Future Committee. John’s Chicago 00 Project was produced in partnership with filmmaker Geoffrey Alan Rhodes. The project’s interactive augmented and virtual reality experiences won a Chicago Innovation award in 2019.
