Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Jessica Sciortino (‘15) graduated Magna Cum Laude from Lake Forest College with a major in Communication and a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation. During her time at the college, she was the President and Founder of C.EO. (Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization) and the Senior Prize in Communication recipient.. She was also a member of the National Leadership Honors Society (Omicron Delta Kappa) and Lambda Pi Eta Communication National Honor Society. After graduating with a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University in 2016, she moved to Florida to pursue a Professional Marketing Strategy Internship with The Walt Disney Company. She was promoted to a Marketing Strategy Associate Manager role in 2018, and has since worked on several brands under the Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products umbrella, including Disney Meetings & Events, Disney Imagination Campus, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons, and Disney Floral & Gifts. In addition to using her intrapreneurship knowledge to launch two business rebrands within the company, she was also proud to launch marketing campaigns for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Walt Disney World Resort.
