The paper “Investors’ Beliefs in the Midst of a Market Crash and the Covid 19 Pandemic” using survey and experimental data, co-authored by Assistant Professor of Finance Dimitra Papadovasilaki, has been accepted for presentation at the Paris December 2020 Finance Meeting.

Papadovasilaki and the paper's co-authors— University of Nevada, Reno Associate Professor of Economics Federico Guerrero, Assistant Professor of Business Management Garret Ridinger, and  Professor of Business Management James Sundali—will present the paper at this year's virtual summit.

The Paris December Finance Meeting is one of the top two European conferences in terms of selectivity and the quality of the papers presented.

Organizers received more than 400 submissions and could only accept about one out of every six papers. Paper selection was based on quality and contribution to the field following recommendations by members of the scientific committee.

Papadovasilaki’s specializations include financial crises, decision making, and behavioral and experimental finance.
