Chicago NPR affiliate turns to Ahmad Sadri for Iran conflict insight
WBEZ, Chicago’s National Public Radio news station, interviewed Gorter Professor of Islamic World Studies and Professor of Sociology Ahmad Sadri for a news story on potential US military intervention in Iran.
The radio interview aired on January 14 with a corresponding digital news story, “US military intervention in Iran more likely to harm civilians than bring regime change, immigrants say,” appearing on the WBEZ website the same day.
An Iranian-American sociologist, author, and translator, Sadri is consulted often by media for his thoughts on world news.
Of the recent situation in Iran, Sadri is quoted in the story saying: “[T]his is actually the worst violence that we have seen in many years in Iran.”
