Becoming an Author

Submissions for each volume are due January 31.

We invite papers from the humanities and social sciences, typically between 2,000 and 6,000 words (multiple submissions are welcome).

Selected works will be published in the upcoming volume, and authors will be invited to present their research at our End-of-Year Release Party, where they’ll receive complimentary copies of the journal.

End of Year Release Party Highlights

Join us as we celebrate the newest issue of Inter-Text with readings from featured authors, conversations with editors, and a showcase of student scholarship in the humanities and social sciences.

Becoming an Editor

Editors play a central role in shaping each volume of Inter-Text. They review submissions, provide feedback to authors, and prepare accepted works for publication.

Editors meet once a week and may earn 0.25 course credit hours per semester. Complete the Editor Interest Form to join our team.

Becoming a part of the Production Support Team

The production team designs and finalizes the journal using Adobe InDesign and creates all promotional materials for Inter-Text. Members gain hands-on experience in publication design, layout, and creative direction.

The team meets once a week alongside the editors and can also earn 0.25 course credit hours per semester. If you’re creative, collaborative, and detail-oriented, fill out the Production Team Interest Form to get involved.
