Co-curricular
Outside of my courses, I am heavily involved in several organizations including Nu Rho Psi, Future Health Professionals, Its On Us, Women in STEM, and Synapse. I also served as the Director of Communications for Synapse and will be serving on the executive boards for Nu Rho Ps and Future Health Professionals as the co-president and secretary, respectively. In addition, I have been a Peer Teacher and Peer Mentor for several biology courses and have very much enjoyed being a resource and mentor for the student's I've taught! Despite my very busy schedule, in my free time I love making art and taking care of my many plants.
My Dream Job
college is to become a neurosurgeon. I hope to someday be able to innovate new, more efficient ways of preforming surgeries and make a difference in peoples' lives around the world. I want to travel and practice surgery in many different countries, especially throughout Africa.
