Pitch Competitions and competitive opportunities for young entrepreneurs interested in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Students from all academic departments have assistance entering competitions and have access to events, workshops, mentoring and in-house competitions that enable them to test and refine their founder skills. 

Students from across the nation who share a passion for trading and quantitative finance come together for The Midwest Trading Competition, where they compete in teams in simulated trading, connect with each other, and extensively network with sponsor firms and employers.

The Baylor New Venture Competition on-campus event is a two-day business plan competition and elevator pitch competition promoting student entrepreneurship. The competition showcases student created, managed, and owned ventures. Competititors from accredited universities across the globe receive expert feedback, coaching, and a prize package of cash and crucial in-king business support services, to launch and grow their ventures.

Net Impact's Up to Us campus competition is a nonpartisan leadership program where student leaders mobilize their campus to understand why fiscal policy matters. Select teams receive training and funds to turn their ideas into action, leadership skills, networking opportunities, and access to all-expenses-paid national conferences around the country.

Pitch HER's pitch competition will bring leading women entrepreneurs to the Grace Hopper Celebration – the world’s largest gathering of women technologists

The Women's Business Enterprise National Council Student Entrepreneur Program (WBENC SEP) fosters growth for the next generation of women-owned businesses.

Environmental and Social Pitch Competitions

The TCU Richards Barrentine Values and Ventures international competition epitomizes the TCU Neeley's mission - to develop ethical leaders with a global perspective who help shape the business environment - by encouraging student entrepreneurs to develop for-profit enterprises that impact society in meaningful ways.

The MIT Clean Energy Prize (CEP) is the oldest and largest student-run business plan competition in the US, with the mission to both INSPIRE and PREPARE the next generation of leaders to take on the world's most pressing energy challenges.

The Princeton Environmental Ideathon (PEID) is a two-day competition at Princeton University for bringing together academics and leaders of industry from the East Coast to address challenges and propose solutions to developing a greener and more sustainable modern city.

Technology Pitch Competitions

Student Startup Madness, along with its partners and host universities, believes in American entrepreneurship and on-campus startups--and wants to help young student entrepreneurs succeed and become a part of the SXSW experience. Prize: pitch to a celebrity panel of well-known entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and investors at the Student Startup Madness national finals.

TechLaunch Bullpen - the monthly pitch event similar to "Shark Tank" -- a perfect way to get priceless advice and mentoring, as well as the attention of investors, all while your early stage tech company prepares for growth.

CodeLaunch is an annual seed accelerator for people and groups with ideas for "apps" who are seeking seed funding.  Entries are submitted online. Any software ideas are taken, even just having an idea for an app is acceptable.
