Join us for a special Inauguration lecture with Dr. Anke Pinkert, Professor of German and Media & Cinema Studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a dear friend of President Sosulski.
Dr. Pinkert will examine the role of higher education—and the humanities in particular—at a moment of profound societal transformation by showing why the questions the humanities ask about meaning, memory, and human flourishing are not peripheral to the work of the university but central to its survival and its promise.
