Welcome from the Parent’s Council
Campus is beginning to come alive in preparation for new student arrival this Friday and returning student arrival next Tuesday. Fall athletes are here practicing; residence life and student life staff are engaged in leadership training to prepare for orientation; and first generation students are on campus getting a jump start on college by participating in the First Connection program.
On behalf of the Parent’s Council, we would like to officially welcome your family back to campus. Over the summer, we’ve helped compile a number of parent resources and events we hope you’ll find helpful throughout the upcoming year.
To stay informed about campus news and parent events, keep an eye out for the Spectrum Extra e-newsletter in your inbox every other Wednesday. And we hope you’ll be able to join us back on campus for parent and family events during Homecoming, which will take place October 8-10, and Family Weekend, which will take place February 6.
