“The Miracle Years of Little Fork” by English lecturer Rebecca Makkai appears in the Summer 2015 issue of Ploughshares.
A lecturer in the Department of English, Makkai has written two novels and a collection of short stories. Her work has been published in Harper’s Magazine, Tin House, New England Review, and more. Her short stories were selected for publication in The Best American Short Stories for four consecutive years.
