Forester Career Closet makes professional clothing accessible for students
At the new Forester Career Closet, students can get business professional clothing for their next interview or networking event for free.
The Forester Career Closet is a new resource at Lake Forest College designed to provide students with professional clothing for job interviews and related events for free.
The Closet, located in Roberts Hall 100, is open Fridays from 1-3p.m., or by appointment. Students should email careers@lakeforest.edu to schedule an appointment outside of drop-in hours.
Current Lake Forest College students are qualified to take home up to four items per semester if they meet both of the following criteria:
- Have had an appointment with a career advisor in the Career Advancement Center at some point since attending Lake Forest College. Haven’t had an appointment yet? Schedule one through Handshake!
- Have an upcoming interview or event that will require business professional or business casual attire.
Students can get a also get a photo taken for their LinkedIn profile during Career Closet drop-in hours or by appointment, and can either come in professional clothing or borrow some from the Closet for their photo.
