Brad Rathe, ’06, education and history major, was awarded the Outstanding Contributions to Community Education Award by District 214. Brad teaches social studies at Prospect High School. The criteria for this award include a demonstration of leadership in instructional practices, the creation of school work that engages and challenges students, and a willingness to take risks and share what is learned from successes and failures. Brad currently teaches World History and US History. He is the varsity assistant boy’s basketball coach and the JV girl’s tennis coach. Congratulations Brad!
