Developing career goals—and a plan of action to achieve them—is central to a Lake Forest education. With our comprehensive four-year program, students graduate with the skills and confidence necessary to launch a career or go to graduate school.

Career Milestones: The Forester Career Plan

Continuous four-year career-planning support begins on day one. Students will:

  • Explore majors and careers
  • Pursue internships and research to gain experience
  • Connect with alumni and professionals in your area of interest
  • Develop stand-out resumes 
  • Interview for jobs and grad school with confidence

    Students who plan to complete an unpaid internship during the spring 2016 semester may qualify for funding of up to $2500 to help alleviate costs associated with their experience.

    Looking for an internship or full-time job?  Join the resume book and your resume will be shared with employers and alumni interested in recruiting Lake Forest College students! 
  • The FBI recently released a nationwide public service announcement warning college/university staff and students of two prevalent scams.

    The Forester Career Network connects Lake Forest College students with professional alumni, parents, and friends of the College in order to further their career development. The most important requirement is a willingness to share your time and career expertise with students.
