Multiple Voices: 13 Curators, Their Objects and You

November 17-December 11, 2015

The conversations on stereotypes and representation, body image and the way women have been represented in art, emotion and the way the psychological is conveyed, and tradition and the transcendence of time, all have a universality to them. Not only can everyone contribute to these individual thematic issues, but they also strongly relate to each other. Through Multiple Voices, we opened conversation between the curators (the students in Rebecca Goldberg’s Art History 238: Curating an Art Collection), their chosen objects, and the viewers. We welcomed the viewer to connect with each object and contribute their own voice to the conversation.
