How did you choose your area of study?

As a student athlete, I have always wanted to do well both on and off the field. For years, I was the captain of my club team in Hungary and I had to be responsible not only for myself but for my teammates as well. I also had to overcome some serious injuries that made me question whether I should continue athletics. For these reasons, and because I’ve seen other athletes with similar struggles, I became interested in sport psychology.

Upon finishing my undergraduate studies, I plan to pursue a doctoral degree in sport psychology. My biggest dream is to work with the Hungarian or U.S. Olympic Committees, or their national soccer teams.
