James D. Vail III Professor of American History, Emeritus Michael H. Ebner finishes residency

Professor Ebner served last month as scholar-in-residence for the U.S. Department of Education’s Teaching American History program in Lee County, Florida. He conducted sessions for public school teachers focused on the long twentieth century (1896 to 2008), as well as Studs Terkel as oral historian. He previously participated in TAH programs in Virginia, Minnesota, and Illinois.
