International Relations and French double major interns with deputies in French Parliament
Rickie Quaqlia in Paris
International Relations and French double major Rickie Quaglia ’16 is an intern with the French National Assembly in Paris. He works with deputies in the French parliament on issues pertaining to French citizens who live outside France.
Among other things, Quaglia researches and writes position papers for the deputies and prepares, on their behalf, formal requests for information to government ministries. His knowledge of French has reached a “professional level,” and the work he is doing daily at the National Assembly has direct relevance to his Lake Forest College courses.
