The project, Benkadi Project Senuyaa Initiative, is one of many undertakings Bond and her 501c3 Non-Profit, Motherland Rhythm Community’s Benkadi Project, have completed in the region over the past 10 years.
Cunliffe and Ayala participated as recipients of the Davis Foundation’s Projects for Peace grant, which funded 60 percent of the project. While Cunliffe traveled to West Guinea with Bond, Ayala coordinated efforts from home, including compiling training materials.
