At Lake Forest College, Linda is responsible for producing news, publicity, and information about the College to on-campus constituents and local, regional, and national media. She is also the new editor of Spectrum alumni magazine and will eventually advise the Stentor student newspaper.

Linda joins Lake Forest College after a decade at Pioneer Press/Sun-Times Media, where she reported on the local community — including Lake Forest College. Besides working as a reporter, Linda also brings to the College a background as Manager of News and Information at Tribune Company and years working in publications and graphics at Chicago-area community colleges.

Linda lives in Gurnee with her husband, Randy Blaser, and their three children, Natalie, Steven, and Michael. They like to race their Flying Scot at Delavan Lake and hope, just once, to actually cross the finish line first.
