Readings, artwork, and networking with Chicago editors highlighted the print and digital publishing program launch.
November 19, 2014

“A Night of Art and Literature” featuring authors and editors from Chicago celebrated the launch of the College’s print and digital publishing minor.

Students in the program get practical, hands-on editorial and publicity experience as they help to shepherd books, periodicals, and articles into a final print or digital format.

During the event, participants viewed student artwork and had an opportunity to network with editors from Fifth Star, CCLaP, Curbside Splendor, TusitalaCollageEukaryon, and Lake Forest College Press/&NOW Books.

Readings by visiting authors Ian Morris, Jac Jemc, Lamont Robinson ’94, and student writers Taylor Carlile ’16, Devenia Doss’16, Nicole Misic ’15, and Charles Jones ’17 provided inspiration to aspiring authors.
