Harvey takes center stage
Harvey Cain '52 leads the celebratory ride from North Campus.
A dozen Lake Forest College supporters joined Harvey Cain ’52 for the 3-mile celebratory bike ride in town to commemorate his cross-country journey to Homecoming.
The bikers stopped in Market Square for a group photo, passed the houses that Harvey’s grandfather built on Illinois Road across from Farwell Field, and rode onto campus through a gauntlet of cheering students, faculty, staff, photographers, and reporters.
