Dr. Evelyne Accad, Professor Emerita in Middle East, African, French and Women’s Studies, University of Illinois, author and activist, will discuss the new bilingual edition of her novel, Blessures des mots: Journal de Tunisie/Wounding Words: A Woman’s Journal in Tunisia (Paris: L’Harmattan, 2016) with translator Cynthia Hahn, Professor of French. The edition includes new prefaces by Tunisian scholars Khedija Arfaoui and Amel Ben Aba, and copies will be available.
