Digital Chicago launch party
Digital Chicago
Since 2015, Digital Chicago: Unearthing History and Culture has involved the work of over 20 faculty projects, approximately half of which will have their official launch on April 25.
These projects have involved the work of no fewer than 38 dedicated student Digital Chicago Research Assistants, and the involvement of over 450 students through participation in over 15 grant-related courses.
In addition to hors d’oeuvres, our launch celebration will feature a brief toast celebrating the launch of the site as well as several laptop stations where guests can browse the website. The Digital Chicago grant staff—Project Director Davis Schneiderman, Chicago Digital Humanities Coordinator Emily Mace, and Digital Archivist Anne Thomason—hope you and any interested students or community members will be available to join in the celebration.
