Geoffrey Baer of WTTW’s Chicago Tonight credited Lake Forest College as his main source for information on late 19th century African-American history in Lake Forest in the “Ask Geoffrey” segment that aired on February 18.
“A wonderful resource for those looking to explore Lake Forest’s African-American history is this virtual tour put together by Lake Forest College,” Baer said.
Baer also noted the College’s founding by wealthy abolitionist and important Underground Railroad figure Sylvester Lind.
