“Coïncidences”: Creative Collaboration in Urban Spaces

Cynthia Hahn, Professor of French, gave a talk for the Department of French and Francophone Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago on her creative work and professional collaborations with Lebanese author Dr. Evelyne Accad (Professor Emerita, University of IL, Champaign-Urbana) and Parisian artist Monique Loubet.

Hahn has translated 3 of Accad’s novels and a volume of short stories, and collaborated with artist Loubet to produce Hahn’s second volume of poetry, “Co-ïncidences” (Paris, alfAbarre, 2014). Jennifer Solheim, Visiting Assistant Professor of French at UIC invited the group to discuss their creative collaborations at the Institute for the Humanities.
