Burroughs events a hit
The Chicago Humanities Festival event featured the "World's Largest Cut-Up" and a collaborative art ensemble.
Lake Forest College’s collaboration with the Chicago Humanities Festival to celebrate William S. Burroughs made a splash on campus and in the city.
The Burroughs’ 100th birthday events kicked off with a poetry reading by Anne Waldman and the opening night of a Burroughs art exhibit on campus and wrapped up with the “World’s Largest Cut-Up” and a collaborative art ensemble including faculty members Joshua Corey and Davis Schneiderman of the English department, Don Meyer of music, and Richard Pettengill, theater.
