Halker entertained students and faculty members on Monday afternoon with the story of how he chose his career path. Bucky, a musician, songwriter, historian and scholar, talked about his musical projects, which combine his love of music with his interest in labor history.

Halker, a musician, songwriter, historian and scholar, talked about his musical projects, which combine his love of music with his interest in labor history. His passion is to give a voice to those musicians, particularly in the Midwest, who have written music that defines the times in which they lived.
