Associate Professor of English Carla Arnell’s latest article accepted for publication
The article, titled “Seeking Wisdom and Cultivating Delight: Teaching Literature for Life,” will appear in volume 17 of the Duke University publication Pedagogy.
Arnell’s essay examines the challenges and opportunities that characterize teaching literature in contemporary high schools and colleges—an educational milieu increasingly dominated by standardized testing, skills assessment, and careerism.
