Kevin Curameng works at Walgreen’s corporate office in Deerfield after recently graduating from Lake Forest College.

Curameng, of Lake Forest, also played Division III football while attending Lake Forest College, where he double majored in finance and politics.

He recently talked about his new professional career and his collegiate career.

Q: What did you enjoy most about your time at Lake Forest College?

A: The small atmosphere allowed me to make some really good friends. Since I saw those same people on a consistent basis, I developed some good friendships.

Q: Why did you decide to pursue finance and politics as a double major?

A: For finance, I was looking into the business aspect of things and I delved into finance. For the politics major, I took a couple of lower level courses and it interested me, and I took a couple more and I wound up being on track for another major.

Q: What do you see yourself doing in five years?

A: Either be a financial accountant or financial analyst.

Q: What do you enjoy about finance?

A: I like the math aspect of it. I think I am pretty good at it, so I see myself doing that.

Q: Did you enjoy playing football?

A: It was a fun experience and it helped with the networking.

Q: What was your favorite part of playing football?

A: Being around a bunch of people and the camaraderie. That was a unique and fun aspect to it.

Q: Who is your favorite player on the Bears?

A: Tarik Cohen. He is good at every aspect of the game. He is always a playmaker on offense.
