Already giving back
The Class of 2015 is already making strides in its Young Alumni Challenge.
The Class of 2015 stepped up to the plate at the Young Alumni Challenge launch party with great attendance and a solid commitment to giving back.
More than 120 members of the graduating class attended the kick-off for the new initiative, which was held in the Tiernan Trophy Room at the Sports & Recreation Center on March 26.
By the end of the night, 99 students pledged donations to their class gift.
“They’re halfway to their goal of having 50 percent of their senior class pledging to give to the College over the next five years,” Assistant Director of Donor Relations Courtney Hickman said.
In the new program, every dollar raised will be matched dollar-for-dollar for the next five years by a Lake Forest College supporter, she said.
Members of the Class of 2015 helping with the effort are:
- Jack Courage
- Roberto Salem
- Daniel Turk
- Jason Morrall
- Hugh Watanabe
- Joey Kropp
- Ian Taylor
- Alexis Yusim
- Whitney Leiderman
- Amanda Morais
- Megan O’Connor
- Lilly Mead
- Philip Rindom
- Brian Madson
