All about ants
Dr. Corrie Moreau of The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago delivered an important talk on ants at the College.
An insect expert from The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago came to campus to talk about evolutionary diversification of ants.
Dr. Corrie Moreau, an associate curator in the museum’s insect division, was the guest speaker at a late-afternoon meeting of Beta Beta Beta, an honor society for students studying the biological sciences.
Sally Nahhas ’16 (below) paid close attention to Moreau’s lesson on formicidae ants in the talk that drew nearly a full house in Meyer Auditorium.
Beta Beta Beta’s next scheduled speaker will be Dr. Jeremy Lynch, assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
