Giving

The Lake Forest College Forester Society recognizes the College’s most loyal and generous Forester supporters.

Philanthropic support for Lake Forest College is an investment in the future of our students, the strength of our programs, our distinguished faculty, our beautiful residential campus, and the personalized wrap-around support for every Forester that can only be found here. The transformative Lake Forest College experience is only made possible with the leadership and generous philanthropic investments that our extended Forester family provides.

The Forester Society recognizes the College’s most loyal and generous supporters who lift up the mission and vision of Lake Forest College in one or more of the following ways:

Red and Black Society

The Red and Black Society recognizes donors who have made a philanthropic gift to the College for five consecutive years. As a member of the Red and Black Society, you’ll receive a welcome gift, recognition on our digital honor roll, an annual impact report, the opportunity to have a campus tour led by a Gummere Fellow, and a complimentary invitation to our annual Forester Society Reception.

Leadership Society

The Leadership Society recognizes donors who have given $1,000 or more annually. In addition to the benefits listed in the Red and Black Society, Leadership Society members will also receive invitations to the President’s Reception and State of the College Presentation at Homecoming.

President’s Society

The President’s Society recognizes donors who have given $10,000 or more annually. In addition to the benefits listed in the Red and Black Society and the Leadership Society, President’s Society members will also receive an exclusive invitation to our annual Summer Celebration.

Founder's Society

The Founder’s Society recognizes donors who have given more than $100,000 in philanthropic support to Lake Forest College. In addition to the benefits listed in the Red and Black, Leadership, and President's Societies, Founder’s Society members will also receive an exclusive invitation to our annual Summer Celebration, as well as invitations to join us on campus for events with our faculty and students.

1857 Society

The 1857 Society recognizes individuals who have included Lake Forest College in their estate plans. In addition to the benefits listed in the other Societies, members will also receive invitations for special 1857 Society events, including a virtual Coffee and Conversation with President Baren.
