Led by JoAnn Dietz Beck ’68. JoAnn is a retired Landscape Architect with an MLA from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, where she also taught as a Visiting Assistant Professor. In private practice, and as the City Landscape Architect for Rochester, New York, she specialized in the design of public park and trail projects. She serves as Chair of the Rochester Olmstead Parks Alliance, and as President of the Board of Directors of The Highland Park Conservancy.
- The Crown Fountain – an interactive sculpture and water feature
- Cloudgate – sculpture which provides a whole new perspective on the Chicago skyline
- The Jay Pritzker Pavilion, an outdoor bandshell and its associated Great Lawn
- The Lurie Garden – a perennial garden reflecting midwestern ecotones.
